Recent ActivityWelcome to the technical support page for McDowell County Public Schools. We are proud of the technology that has been integrated into our school system over the past decade and we enjoy supporting our teachers and students in the use of that technology on a daily basis.
The McDowell County Schools' Technology Department strives to provide fair, efficient, and just-in-time end-user and systems support for all members and sites. We also understand that educational technology support must be flexible to meet the rapidly changing needs of our users. Therefore our technology support strategy is a blend of the "High Efficiency" and "Satisfactory Efficiency" categories of the Technology Support Index published by International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and the Gates Foundation.

Info and How to's What is the quickest way to get help?If you are having any kind of technical trouble with your computer or any of the technology equipment in your classroom, your initial point of contact should be your site technician or technology assistant. After contact with your site technician or technology assistant, we generally follow this procedure:
